About Us
825 Studios is a film and music studio founded by a collective of Midwestern native producers that built their careers in Los Angeles, Nashville and New York. The concept was spearheaded by entertainment professionals, who actively work and are deeply rooted in the heart of the Big Apple, Nashville's music row and Tinsel Town's film and music industry.
The directive group managing the business are indy & major label music artists, producers, directors and production companies, including Grammy Award, Platinum & Gold, and Oscar winning producers and engineers. Our partners are located in the heart of Kansas City's midtown community, Los Angeles, Nashville, Atlanta, Seattle, Miami, and New York. With this great coverage, we're everywhere the industry is for effectiveness and to reach & meet client needs.
Our main location is a 3,200 sq ft two-story film and music studio with three control/engineering rooms, one video editing room, four recording isolation booths, one large sound stage (for drums, orchestral groups, photography & film), and one video screening room. We also have private access to a 20,000 sq ft warehouse for larger recordings, used for set building and filming of large scale commercials, television, film, and music videos. Our mother company's Midwestern branch, Crayton Corporation provides us with sales and marketing support, enabling us to operate at high capacity and provides resources needed to aid in client development.

Other Facts
We've dedicated our mission to mirror the life of Dr. Hulon Crayton, who gave to the world, but ultimately lost his battle to Leukemia. He was a big supporter of the arts and 825 Studios. So in dedication to him, artist Paul Eade made a painting to immortalize him within the location that he dreamed to record in. Additionally, the orange color on our website and logos are in dedication to him, as orange is the color that shows support for those with the cancer, leukemia. Dr. Crayton was near and dear to our hearts and shall always be loved and missed.
